Reserve Update Saturday 3rd September
The Swallow chicks are now flying although they are making regular pitstops back into the Teal Pond Hide. Two Sparrowhawks were seen along the Avenues, one of which was lurking in the hedgerow next to the Paddock in the hopes of an easy meal.
The Folly Pond is once again teaming with life, over a hundred Black-tailed Godwits once more, joined by Teal, Wigeon, Shoveler, Snipe and Lapwing.
Today's high tide 14:24, 9.2m

Osprey Webcam
The Ospreys have now fledged and are not returning to the nest very often so we will soon be starting our blog as we follow the satellite tagged chicks on their first migration.
As October approaches we will hopefully be switching to our winter webcam showing the Whooper Pond, where some 300 Whooper Swans will spend the winter.
