Reserve Update Tuesday 14th August - Hen Harrier again
The male Hen Harrier was back around Avenue Tower this morning with views of it hunting and catching prey over the Merse. It had also been seen on Sunday so seems to be a pretty regular feature at the mo. The buzzard was once again on it's perch at the osprey platform and a Raven was present in Low Middle field "kronking" away. It is starting to sound a bit more like Autumn with flocks of Canada and Greylag Geese building around the Reserve. Mallard numbers have also shot up on Folly Pond.
Today's high tide is at 15:20, 9.7m.
