Reserve Update Wednesday 4th April
Spring is in the air......if only the weather would concur! Our two resident mute swan pairs have now moved from the Whooper Pond back to their respective breeding ponds. The female on the Teal Pond was even perched on one of their old nests first thing. The Primroses and Celandines are casting a pleasant shade of yellow along the bankings down to Avenue Tower. Lapwing continue to display over Lochar field. Good numbers of Tufted Ducks are on the Whooper Pond.
