Jill McKee exhibition

Jill McKee has been painting for others for over 20 years now, and enjoys it perhaps even more today than when she started.

Most of her work is on a commission basis and is inspired by the Bible. The style and scale of these paintings vary from large abstract designs right through to smaller more traditional images.

The broad theme of this exhibition is nature, painting beauty both on a large and a small scale. Some pictures are known places while some scenes are from Jill's own imagination. She is captured by ‘big skies’, which feature quite a lot in her work, in addition to the mountains and beaches of Northern Ireland. The beaches can be anything from beautiful pure sand to the interesting combination of dark sand, tufty grass, sea puddles and rock - jelly shoes required!

See Jill's exhibition in the Gallery from 21th July - 11th August.
