Howard Ross was born in Belfast and has been painting in oils for the last 20 years. Through this medium he connects with the world around him by his use of colour, light and movement. He is especially drawn to Impressionism and is inspired by freedom of expression and the ability to paint loosely in a representative way.
Julie Boston was born in Belfast and has spent the last 20 years painting the coastlines and countryside of Ireland in oils. Influenced by Expressionism she responds to memories, movement and light with simplified shape, bright colours and brushstrokes. This exhibition of new work is representative of her style.
