Get closer to nature - get more from your summer. Become a Nature Explorer!
For budding explorers, adventure seekers and those looking to get more from the summer holidays this year, become a Nature Explorer at WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre!
Visit until 4 September and armed with your very own passport of discovery, enjoy adventure after adventure, recording your progress by collecting stickers along the way to become a nature explorer! And you’ll learn about wonderful, wetland wildlife at the same time.
Enjoy close up encounters with our feathered friends, grab your magnifying glasses for our big bug hunt, see what lies beneath the waters at pond dipping and learn all about our colorful, Caribbean flamingos. And this is just the start of your exciting, nature expedition!
Keen explorers will love to work their way up to the gold sticker – becoming a Super Nature Explorer!
And for our big explorers (over 5s), why not jump aboard our canoe safari and head off exploring a watery treasure trail and spot a range of wonderful wildlife along the way. Or hire a bike and wind your way through our exciting wildlife trail discovering exciting sights and sounds. These amazing activities are running every day during the school summer holidays and are included in the admission price (free for members) so don’t miss out!
Don't worry if you run out of time to get all your stickers in one visit – you can bring your passport back to complete the challenges at any time during the summer holidays.

“Being a Nature Explorer is great fun for all the family and a fantastic way to inspire kids to love wildlife and want to protect it for the future. Our canoe safari and bike trail open during the summer holiday so it’s a really exciting time to visit. There are so many different activities on offer every day, come rain or shine, you’ll be kept busy and have a real wetland adventure!”
