Construction work is ongoing to replace the old footbridge to the reserve. An alternative route is available, but the Heron's Wing and Peter Scott hides will be closed until the work is complete. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Iolo Williams filming at WWT Llanelli!
WWT Llanelli is pleased to announce that Natur Y Gwanwyn - a new nature series presented by Iolo Williams - is to be transmitted on S4/C every night between March 25th and 29th at 8.25pm.
The body of these programmes will be recorded at WWT Llanelli and Iolo and the crew will be here on the following dates:
Thursday 21st March
Monday 25th March
Tuesday 26th March
Wednesday 27th March
Thursday 28th March
Recording will happen between 2pm – 4pm on each day and everyone is welcome to come and see them filming during the session. The more the merrier ... so tell everyone you know!
The aim of the series is to make people aware of nature around them and these five programmes will concentrate on the spring. The content will include birds, plants, geology..... anything and everything to reflect Spring in Wales 2013!
