Wetland Centre Radio Stars!
Staff and birds here at the Wetland Centre have become stars of the radio!
BBC Radio Cymru presenter Geraint Lloyd visited the Llanelli Wetland Centre recently and was so impressed he recorded the whole of his show from here!
Geraint received an informative and interesting tour of the Wetland Centre from our Learning Assistant, Heini Evans, where she showed him all the wonderful wildlife we have here in Penclacwydd.
The radio presenter tried his hand at feeding the Nenes, visited the flamingo house and found out all about the exciting events coming up in the summer holidays.
As well as Heini's interview, many of the birds were quite happy to be heard on radio too and have their 15 minutes of fame!
