Santa is coming to Llanelli Wetland Centre
For a magical experience this Christmas, visit Santa at his wetland winterland for a fun-filled, festive evening at WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre!
Book your Santa’s workshop experience at WWT Llanelli on Friday 16 or 23 December and enjoy an after-hours event (5pm – 6.30pm) for just £10 per child (including 1 adult).
Santa’s busy elves will take a break from their schedules and help you make your very own Christmas craft creations to take home! Enjoy fun, Christmas-themed games like; antler ring toss, pom-pom snowball fights, guess the sweets in the jar and Santa’s cookie toss.
Have a photo at our selfie-station dressed in Christmas accessories and have your face painted in preparation to meet Santa in his grotto to receive your own gift. After this, you’ll have a wonderful chance to join Santa as he warms up for his busiest time of year with a hot chocolate and Christmas treat in the cafe!

This is a great chance for children to enjoy the wintery magic of our wetlands at night with our helpful elves and special visit from Santa! We also have our popular afternoon activity “feed the birds with Santa” running Sundays throughout December at 2.45pm”.
Throughout the Christmas school holidays (Sat 17 Dec – Tues 3 Jan excluding Christmas Eve and day) you can also enjoy daily activities available for the whole family to celebrate the festive season including; bird spotting with the help of a guide from our warm viewing tower and Heron’s wing hide and afternoon, drop-in, winter craft workshops. Enjoy all this among beautiful winter landscapes and nature and explore our new outdoor play area, Flamingo Bay. Or keep warm in the visitor centre with a home-baked cake from our cafe whilst the little ones enjoy our new indoor soft play area.
