Construction work is ongoing to replace the old footbridge to the reserve. An alternative route is available, but the Heron's Wing and Peter Scott hides will be closed until the work is complete. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Special programme and special offer for schools to celebrate world wetlands day!

In collaboration with Welsh Water, we will be offering this special programme between Tuesday 29 January and Friday 1 February, in the run up to world wetlands day. The session, entitled “Water – where does it come from and how can we look after it?”, lasts two hours and will see children investigating water with hands-on activities – assembling the pipe work to supply a model seaside town with water without wasting any, and exploring real wetlands on the WWT Llanelli reserve.
