Plan Your Visit: Sunday 8 February

The Llanelli Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday. WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre is open as usual. Access is maintained from the Loughor Bridge side, but the road from the Machynys side will be closed until around 11am. All roads should reopen as normal from 11am. Map and full info here.

Starling murmuration at WWT Llanelli - video

This fantastic video was filmed this week at WWT Llanelli by Barry Stewart. It shows tens of thousands of starlings in the sky above the centre. Visitors are currently enjoying watching the starlings  forming flocks from around 3.30pm onwards.
