Mudfest 2025

Put your dusty festival wellies to good use and join us to celebrate as Mudfest returns to WWT Llanelli this February half term!

The legendary festival of all things muddy is back - and promises to be wilder and messier than ever, with an UNMISSABLE lineup for 2025!

Get stuck into your February half term with minibeast mud hunts, glorious games, wild crafts – and mud, mud more. After all, it’s the stuff wetlands (and great family adventures) are made of.

With hands-on activities for all ages and abilities, everyone can connect with nature and discover the magical powers of mud for wildlife and play. We’re talking mud obstacle courses , muddy tug of war, barefoot trails , muddy nest-making, marvellous mud kitchens , muddy sculpture stories, mud-slinging, pot-throwing, and a whole lot more mud. You’ll be able to paint with mud, hunt for mini-beasts in the mud, and create seedbombs using – you’ve guessed it – mud!

Just announced: NEW for 2025

• Tuesday & Wednesday: Beauty School - make your own mud masks. 3:30 til 4:00.
• Wednesday: Pottery Throwdown - watch a pottery wheel demonstration from potter Robin Dring and find out all about clay.
• Wednesday: Paint a Pot sessions - paint and decorate your own pre-made pottery items. Please note that there will be an additional charge for this activity to cover materials. Full info coming soon.
