1 Goldeneye - main lake
1 Shelduck - main lake
1 Kestrel - hunting over the overflow car park
18 Redwing - entrance lake area
December bird highlights: Jack Snipe, Bittern, Goldeneye, Yellow-legged Gull, Pintail, Water Rail, Caspian Gull, Stonechat, Skylark, Water Pipit, Lesser Redpoll, Chiffchaff.
Amphibians: Smooth Newt found on 20th December (not usually seen until the spring).
Unseasonally early flowering plants: Marsh Marigold, Cowslip, Ragwort, Daisy.
