Sandwich Terns over main lake. Kingfisher, Snipe and Redshank on the scrape. Yellow Wagtail on the marsh.

1 Curlew - over site

6 Snipe - 4 wader scrape, 2 marsh

3 Redshank - 2 main lake, 1 wader scrape

2 Little Ringed Plover - main lake

2 Oystercatcher - main lake

1 Little Egret - wader scrape/ marsh

2 Sandwich Tern - over main lake then flew SW

2 Kestrel - sheltered lagoon, wildside

1 Yellow Wagtail - marsh

30+ Sand Martin - over site

6 Sedge Warbler - north-side marsh, reedbed, reservoir lagoon

40+ Reed Warbler - across site

8 Chiffchaff - across site

15 Blackcap - across site

Breeding bird survey 18/4 (singing birds) - Cetti's Warbler (16), Reed Warbler (43), Sedge Warbler (6), Chiffchaff (8), Blackcap (15), Reed Bunting (4), Song Thrush (4), Blackbird (8), Greenfinch (5)

Butterflies and other insects (April)- Early Bumblebee, White-tailed Bumblebee, Honey Bee, Buff-tailed Bumblebee, Ashy Mining Bee, Grey-patched Mining Bee, Red-tailed Bumblebee, Tree Bumblebee, Green Hairstreak, Peacock, Red Admiral, Brimstone, Small White, Large White, Small Tortoiseshell, Comma, Speckled Wood, Orange-tip, Holly Blue, Bee-fly, Hoverfly sp., Large Red Damselfly.
