Wildlife sightings for 27th September 2021
Pectoral Sandpiper and good numbers of Snipe feeding in the heavy rain.
1 Pectoral Sandpiper - main lake from WWF hide (16th day on site)
1 Garganey - wader scrape
12 Snipe - wader scrape
7 Chiffchaff - sheltered lagoon, Wildside
50+ Wigeon - main lake
Butterflies: (late September) Red Admiral, Large White, Small White, Speckled Wood, Comma.
Dragonflies: (late September) Ruddy Darter, Common Darter, Common Blue Damselfly, Migrant Hawker, Willow Emerald Damselfly.
