Art & Nature at its best
Come down to WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre to witness an exhibition by Northern Wildlife Artists.
The exhibition began in mid-April and will continue until the 22nd May, showcasing work from a series of award winning artists such as David Quinn, a former winner of the British Birds Bird Illustrator of the Year Award, Andrew Beckett, who has exhibited his work at places around the world including ‘Birds in Art’ in Wisconsin, USA and the ‘Natural Eye in London, and Thelma Skyes whose passion for printmaking led her to be a founding member of Nature in Art and she was represented in the exhibition of Western printmakers at Chong Qing, China as part of the Millennium International Printmaking Festival.
The exhibition will be located in the exhibition hall and all artworks will be available to purchase with a percentage going towards the valuable work that Martin Mere does.
Sunday 25 April: Meet an artist
Meet Rob Symington on Sunday 25 April. He will be showing off his skills with pencil and available to talk to visitors about his work.
