Have a wild day out at Martin Mere Wetland Centre this Easter half term with the GIANT Easter Duck Hunt. Join us from 29 March until 14 April on the hunt for 20 GIANT duck and their real-life friends. The GIANT yellow ducks are hiding around our wetland centre, but one cheeky yellow duck is still missing. Can your family work it out and win a tasty prize?
As well as our Duck Hunt, take a seat in our craft room and prepare for our Annual Duck Race! Buy a rubber duck and colour it in for £3.50, then come back on Bank Holiday 6 May and enter it into our Annual Duck race for free. Will your duck make it first across the finish line?
Easter is an exciting time at Martin Mere, as we welcome back much-loved activities such as our Pond Zone and Canoe Safari. More excitingly, our guided boat tours will return with a brand new activity - buy a bag of fish food and feed the fish that live in the waters!
What else to expect at Martin Mere:
From our all-star cast of flamingos, a family of otters, a muster of white storks and a pair of poisonous spur-winged geese, we’ve got a wide range of species at our Wetland Centre. You can find out more about these amazing animals in our daily species spotlight talks and feeds.
For the young adventurers, there’s plenty of areas to explore. Venture through our Wild Walk – wellies are a must! Make sure you check out our Rushes play area. From zip wire screams and scramble net laughs, to treehouse trailblazing and water zone wonders, our huge adventure playground is a total rush for ages 3 to 12.
