New ‘early bird’ events at WWT Martin Mere
WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre is launching ‘Early Bird’ walks in May to allow visitors a unique opportunity to watch the reserve spring to life at dawn.
The Early Bird walks are taking place on Saturday 4 May and Saturday 22 June and start at 5.30am.
The events are designed to allow visitors very early access to the centre to watch the reserve come to life, offering fantastic photographic opportunities as well as the chance to see barn owls, marsh harriers, sedge and reed warbler as well as wheatears and wagtails over the reedbed.
The events are £18 per person and include a full English breakfast at 9.30am. Places are limited and you must book in advance by calling 01704 895181.
