Watch the beavers at night on WWT Martin Mere’s new web cam
From Monday 21 February visitors to WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre can take the experience home with them as they can now watch a live web cam on the beavers to view their nightly antics of swimming, playing, feeding and carrying willow around the enclosure.
The beavers are fairly active after 9pm in the evening although as the nights start to get lighter they should be out and about earlier in the day light. We know that Twiggy and Woody (2 adult beavers) had two kitts in 2010 and they can be seen out playing. We will have to wait until June to see if they have had young in 2011.
