Summer Code Breakers

Time: All day

Cost: £1 per trail card

There are 18 clues hidden amongst our flamingos, cranes, swans and more. Can you find them all and crack the code?

Viking Activities in Mere Tun

Time: Mon & Tue only, 12-3pm

Cost: Included in admission

Head to our medieval Mere Tun for weapons training, willow weaving, foraging and more with our Vikings!

Moth trapping

Time: 10:30am

Cost: Included in admission

Get up close to weird and wonderful moths and learn fascinating facts at our daily moth trapping session.

Pond dipping sessions

Time: 1:30pm - 3:00pm

Cost: Included in admission

Grab your net and delve deep into our ponds with our pond dipping sessions. Survey the waters and see if you can find fascinating wildlife such as a pond skater, water mite, diving beetle, or newt. This is one of our most popular activities!

Canoe safari and guided boat tour

Time: 11am - 4pm

Cost: £12 per canoe (up to 3 people) £3.50 per boat tour seat

Explore our waters with our award-winning and self guided canoe safari, or jump on board our guided boat tour and learn more about your surroundings from our expert team. With the warm weather, it’s the perfect day for a breezy and relaxing boat ride!

Meet our wetland superstars

Meet our adorable otters, flamboyant flamingos, friendly nenes, and honking ross’s geese in our living collection. We have plenty of birds from around the world at our centre, and you can even hand feed them!

Explore our reserve

Time: All day

Cost: Included in admission

With over 600 acres and over 150 wild species to find, our reserve is the perfect wetland adventure. Visit our hides to get a fantastic view of our mere, or take a stroll along our reedbed walk and come face to face with some of our more secretive species.
