Bug Hunts - Venture into the wild and uncover the hidden world of insects with George McGavin as your guide. Peek beneath oak logs and marvel at butterflies and dragonflies. See if you can find the most species! 1:30-3pm at our Plumwood area.

Live Talks - Listen to the stories of George McGavin and learn about the world of insects with his talk ‘What have insects ever done for us?’ each day at 11am in our Lecture Theatre. And join The Bee Centre for their talks on 'Honeybees and how they live' at 12:15pm and 'Honeybees and honey' at 2:30pm

Bee Demonstrations - Step up close to a real beehive and watch how local, sustainable honey is made with The Bee Centre.

Pond Dipping - The bug hunt doesn’t stop on land - pick up your net and see what wonderful wildlife calls our ponds home from 1:30-3pm.

Family craft room - we've got a range of bug-tastic crafts and free colouring sheets in our craft room from 1-4pm. Craft prices range from £0.60 - £3.
