Another Raptor Fest.

Far better conditions today as the winds swung round to the North East. Certainly chiller but crystal clear viewing with sunshine in the afternoon.

Another good raptor day with seven species seen. The male Hen Harrier was reported in the afternoon from the United Utilities Hide. Three Peregrine, 2 Marsh Harrier, Merlin, 3 Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.

At least 10 Barnacle Geese with around 4000 Pink-footed Geese at midday.

A few Brambling around the feeding stations.
