No reports of the Grey Phalarope today. We would guess that after it's two week stay, it has decided to head off to it's wintering ground off West Africa. Either that or it found itself becoming an exotic snack for one of the many raptors that are present. Let's hope it's the former.

The ring-tailed Hen Harrier still present but out numbered by 5 Marsh Harrier. Two Peregrines hunting, 3 Common Buzzard, 2 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.

Over 1000 Whooper Swan, 2000+ Common Teal, roosting Pink-footed Geese numbers are around 3000. The geese are unpredictable as usual, although a few Barnacle Geese were around today.

Waders included 700+ Lapwing, 50+ Ruff, 10 Common Snipe and Black-tailed Godwit.

The feeding stations were perhaps slightly busier, always plenty of Tree Sparrow present. Treecreeper along the Nature Trail.
