Bewick's Swan
Bewick's Swan again this morning on the Mere with 600+ Whooper Swan. Ross's Goose still present mostly along the right side of the Mere from the Swan Link Hide. At least 15 species of duck, goose and swan present today.
Waders included 2 Avocet, 92 Ruff, 2000+ Lapwing, 30+ Oystercatcher, 2 Ringed Plover, 3 Common Snipe, Dunlin and Black-tailed Godwit. Woodcock again this morning from the Janet Kear Hide. At least 2 Common Snipe showing well in front of the Gladstone Hide.
Too squally for most raptors but 2 Peregrine, 4 Common Buzzard and Sparrowhawk recorded.
