Despite fearsome predictions from the weather forecasters, another very good birding day, with a similar range of species to yesterday. The Grey Phalarope showed very well from the Ron Barker hide, from which both Marsh and Hen Harriers were seen. At least 70 Ruff today, with well over 1,000 Lapwings, 2 Peregrines and about 2,000 Pink-footed Geese also noted.
