These included over 50 Ruff, a single Black-tailed Godwit, at least 2 Marsh Harriers, a Peregrine, and several Common Buzzards. A Water Rail showed in front of the Janet Kear hide, where the long staying Willow Tit was also present. A single Goldeneye was on the Mere, along with ever increasing numbers of Pochard, Teal, Wigeon and Pintail.
