Another calm day, cloudy but with great visibility. Still good numbers of Whooper Swan, 1000+ although you've only got a few more weeks before the majority will be on there way back to Iceland.
Still 14 Avocet however the weather looks good for the start of next week to bring a few more in. At least 70 Ruff mostly males in non breeding plumage. There is at least one white headed 'satellite' male among them and there are signs of others beginning to colour up.
The usual raptors with 2 Peregrine, 3 Common Buzzard, 2 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
