Slavonian Grebe
Great day at Martin Mere today. Highlight is the Slavonian Grebe showing well from the swan link viewing screens all afternoon, fingers crossed it'll still be there tomorrow. Stunning photo and sighting reported by Kevin Livesey Also possible waxwing spot

WeBS count
We had a lovely WeBS count on Monday where once a month we count all of the wetland birds on the reserve. This is a coordinated count we have been doing every month since WWT took on the reserve. It is a BTO survey and all important wetlands are counted
