An excellent record of two Common Crossbill flying SSE over the Reedbed Walk at 11.10am. These are the 4th and 5th records for the reserve, only two birds have been 'twitchable' including one this spring feeding on the Nature Trail.
An early morning count of Black-tailed Godwit topped 370. Other waders reported included 2 Ruff, Green and Common Sandpiper.
Barn Owl hunting til 11am from the Harrier Hide.
