Curlew Sandpiper
A Curlew Sandpiper was with 10 Dunlin from the Ron Barker Hide today. Perhaps not that surprising given that there have been some good counts on the coast. A Greenshank flew over calling around midday, 42 Ruff, 20+ Snipe, 3 Black-tailed Godwit, Common Sandpiper and 500+ Lapwing.
Some duck arrivals included 6 Pintail and 10+ Wigeon.
Four Marsh Harrier today, 5 Common Buzzard and 2 Kestrel.
