Café kitchen closure

From 8–17 September, our café kitchen will be closed for refurbishment. During this time, our front-of-house will remain open, offering a selection of cakes and ice cream, sandwiches, and drinks. You will also be able to visit our kiosks by the play areas.

Firecrest still present

Firecrest again along the Nature Trail feeding in Yews near the Kingfisher Hide. The bird is mobile so look for any flocks in the trees and undergrowth especially in Pines, Larches and Yews.

A juv Pale -bellied Brent with 15,000+ Pink-footed Geese also Barnacle Goose.

Raptors included Merlin, 2 juv Peregrine, Marsh Harrier, Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.

Waders included 1000+ Lapwing, 27 Ruff and 25 Black-tailed Godwit.

At least 30 Redwing and a flock of ~ 100 Fieldfare. Two Stonechat again.
