First Pink-feet?

Four Pink-feet from the Ron Barker Hide may well be the first of the autumn. Generally the first few Pinks are reported in the local vicinity in the last week of August before the obvious influx occurs mid September, weather depending.

New waders around with Common Sandpiper and a couple of Golden Plover, the later with 300+ Lapwing. Wood Sandpiper reported this morning from the Ron Barker Hide, other waders included, 32 Ruff, 30+ Common Snipe and Green Sandpiper.

The usual raptors with 2 Marsh Harrier, 3+ Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.

A few Wigeon seen today, Grey Wagtail and 30+ Stock Dove. Also Stoat.
