French Gull
The Little Gull is still present along with 2 Mediterranean Gull (2nd sum bird bearing a French darvic ring and a 1st sum bird briefly). Waders present today were Dunlin, c20 Ruff, 16 Curlew, Little ringed Plover, Ringed Plover, Redshank, Lapwing, Oystercatcher and Avocet.
The Grasshopper Warbler was showing well this morning along the Reedbed walk, also Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and plenty of Blackcap singing around the reserve. A Peregrine was seen from Ron Barker hide along with 2-3 Common Buzzard.
Just off site along Curlew Lane, a Yellow Wagtail, male Wheatear, 2 Grey Partridge and Corn Bunting were seen today.
