A 'fresh' day on the reserve but plenty of people out and about.

The Marsh Harriers were putting in some top class flying displays in the windy conditions with at least 5 individuals present. The ring-tail Hen Harrier was present. The Peregrines seemed content on feeding on previously caught meals including a Teal. A Sparrowhawk nabbed a Chaffinch along the Nature Trail and Common Buzzards and Kestrels were also recorded.

Grey Phalarope still present from the Ron Barker Hide. Willow Tit at the Janet Kear Hide feeding station.

Over 1000 Whooper Swan, 2000+ Common Teal, 800+ Wigeon, 500+ Common Shelduck, 200 Pintail, 55 Shoveler and 48 Pochard, the latter pair were on the Mere.

A female Scaup was reported with Tufted Duck from the Harrier Hide.
