More action with new migrants coming in. The first Garganey of 2012, a drake from the Ron Barker Hide this afternoon. The female Red-crested Pochard was seen again from the Harrier Hide.

 Curlew Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, 20+ Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Curlew, Little Ringed Plover, 40 Ruff and a record count of 129 Avocet.

Hirundine and Swifts on the move with 50+ of the later moving through today.

Singing warblers included Whitethroat, Blackcap, Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff. The Willow Tit was very vocal between the Janet Kear and Gladstone Hides along the Nature Trail.
