Plenty of rain over night and this morning. The waterlogged fields are excellent for feeding waders and wildfowl as temperature start to rise this coming week.

Plenty of action over the past couple of days. The Marsh Harriers are showing very well at the moment with at least 4 birds in the area. Hen Harrier (ringtail) was out and about today, 3 Common Buzzard, 2 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk. Two Peregrine are keeping the 2000+ Common Teal and 700+ Lapwing on the wing.

A noticeable influx of gulls with a few adult Common and Herring Gull dropping in.

Stock Doves have been also showing well, from the Kingfisher and Hale Hides. A singing Mistle Thrush was noteworthy. Regular Great-spotted Woodpeckers along the Nature Trail, also Goldcrest.
