Green-winged Teal again

Green-winged Teal again with 2000+ Eurasian Teal from the Ron Barker Hide. Many more teal are present on the reserve.

Plenty of Pink-footed Geese locally with around 5000 on the reserve mid morning. In with the Pink's were 30+ Barnacle Geese.

A good raptor day with six species recorded. Female Merlin, 3 Peregrine (2 Ad + Juv), Marsh Harrier, 3 Common Buzzard, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk. The latter was seen to grab a Greenfinch through the mesh of the table feeder at the Janet Kear Hide.

Just off the reserve a flock of 14 Corn Bunting.
