Hen Harrier and Bewick's Swan again

Chilly in the strong breeze but no rain, which we must be thankful for. As suspected a good raptor day with Hen Harrier (ringtail) being the pick of the bunch, flying through distantly around midday. Also 2 Marsh Harrier, a pair of adult Peregrine, 3+ Common Buzzard, 2 Sparrowhawk and Kestrel. The Tawny Owl showed reasonably well today (directions from in focus) and Barn Owls were out hunting again from ~3pm.

The single Bewick's Swan made another appearance coming in close in front of in focus to the left of the new Discovery Hide just after feeding time.

Interesting to note that the plunge in nighttime temperature has resulted in the disappearance of most of the Black-tailed Godwit, undoubtedly heading back to the coast. Still 1500+ Lapwing, 2 Ringed Plover (perhaps a prospecting pair), 72 Oystercatcher, 50+ Ruff and a few Common Snipe.
