Kingfisher and other birds.
Kingfisher showing again from the Ron Barker Hide. Also good views of Marsh Harrier from there and elsewhere around the reserve with at least 3 birds present. Other raptors included 2 Sparrowhawk, Kestrel and 4 Common Buzzard.
Again a few new waders in with 9 Dunlin, 14 Ruff, Common Sandpiper, 20+ Snipe, Ringed Plover and 200+ Lapwing.
A Common Gull joined the Black-headed Gulls on the Mere for a second day, not that common here!
Still 12 Pink-footed Geese and 5 birds which over summered which have limited flight due to injury.
