Little Egret
A Little Egret was showing well from the Harrier Hide today. At least one Marsh Harrier was on the reserve along with the usual Common Buzzard, Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
Upto 14 Ruff and 2 Black-tailed Godwit were from Ron Barker hide today along with good numbers of Lapwing. One Green Sandpiper was still from Raines Hide this afternoon.
Several Shoveler and 20 Shelduck were also on the Mere along with good numbers of Mallard and small numbers of Teal.
Other wildlife included Brown Hawker dragonflies around the Mere and Comma Butterfly as well as Peacock, Large White and Green viened White.
