Little Egret
A Little Egret was a new bird on site today, still a good bird on site with only a few records a year. The Tawny Owl is still present along the track to UU hide but no reports of the Woodcock today.
A Dunlin was with c80 Ruff on the Mere this evening along with good numbers of Lapwing. Upto 9000 Pink feet have been around in recent days and c1200 Whooper Swan.
All 3 Peregrine were on the usual fenceposts at the back of the Mere and 2+ Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Buzzard and Marsh Harrier. Several Redwings were on site and at least 1 male Bullfinch is still around near the exit gate.
