Little Gull again
Slightly less windy and warmer in the sun early on. Little Gull (1st summer) on the Mere early afternoon. Assuming it's the same bird, it's been present since early May. Adult Med Gull still present, also on the Mere.
A family(?) flock of 6 Raven flew early afternoon is a new highest count of this top corvid.
An immature/female Marsh Harrier again, 3 Common Buzzard, 3 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
Waders included a good count of 120 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 4 Ringed Plover, Dunlin, 10+ Avocet, Redshanks, Oystercatchers and Lapwings. An interesting assumed male Ruff on Woodend Marsh late on in 'fresh' non-breeding plumage.
