Med Gull and other birds.
Another bird packed day on and just off the reserve. Over 1000 Whooper Swan present with another 13+ species of wildfowl around the reserve.
Over 1000 Lapwing present, 60+ Ruff and Black-tailed Godwit. An adult winter plumage Med Gull was on the Mere with Black-headed Gulls before relocating in front of the Harrier Hide mid afternoon.
Raptors included Marsh Harrier, Peregrine, 3 Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel. Also Raven today.
Two Tawny Owl near the Kingfisher Hide late afternoon.
Over 25 Tree Sparrow by the in focus shop. Treecreeper with the mixed Long-tailed Tit flock. Siskin from the Janet Kear Hide.
Just off the reserve 40 Corn Bunting.
