Med Gulls
A pair of Adult Mediterranean Gulls spent a while on the reserve today, and with the BHG colony getting bigger year on year it can't be long before we have Med Gulls breeding on site.Other sightings today in clude the usual 2 Green Sandpiper from Hale Hide, also 2 Common Sandpiper from Ron Barker and a single Dunlin and Ringed Plover. A nice flock of c30 Black tailed Godwit were on the mere most of the day, with many in breeding plumage.
Several Common Buzzard were seen along with at least 2 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.
