More Avocets
Another cracking day weatherwise but just a brief update.
Now 15 Avocet on the Mere for most of the day. A 1000+ Whooper Swan present looking great in the morning sun. Still big numbers of wildfowl present many now displaying including Goldeneye.
A Green Sandpiper was present on the Reed Bed Walk on friday.
At least 50 species of bird can be seen during a days birding on the reserve.
