More new species!

It's rocking at the moment with new birds continuing to turn up on a daily basis. Today 2 Curlew Sandpiper were present with Dunlin and Black-tailed Godwit on Vinson's Marsh viewed from the Ron Barker Hide. One full breeding plumage, one moulting through.

Garden Warbler singing near the Kingfisher Hide this morning is also new. Reed Warbler singing on the Reed Bed Walk this evening.

At least 25 White Wagtail present, 3 Yellow Wagtail, 6+ Wheatear.

Two Whimbrel dropped in briefly at the  back of the Mere 10:30 before flying north.

Six Curlew and a single Whimbrel from the Ron Barker Hide, also 30 Avocet.

Four Swift over this afternoon.

Two Lesser Redpoll present in side the collection near Mere Tun Village.

Raven again hunting for and finding eggs.
