North West Birdwatching Festival starts tommorrow!
Just to mention, the 'North West Birdfair' is on this weekend. The weather is looking good (lucky were aren't in the South West...) and there is loads of stuff on which can be found on the WWT Website.
Over the years a number of good rarities have been found over this weekend including Great Grey Shrike, Firecrest and Grey Phalarope. Even without these there will be 15,000+ birds present around the reserve.
If you do see anything interesting/rare do report it to the in focus shop as we can disseminate the news quickly. While you are there feel free to up grade your binoculars, telescope and tripod as all sale via in focus support the conservation work of the WWT and there's some good offer available too:).
