Plenty of raptors in action today. Three Peregrine causing pandemonium amongst the 900+ Lapwing and 2000+ Common Teal throughout most of the day, suggesting that at least one of them hadn't eaten. [...]

Plenty of raptors in action today. Three Peregrine causing pandemonium amongst the 900+ Lapwing and 2000+ Common Teal throughout most of the day, suggesting that at least one of them hadn't eaten. Other raptors included 3 Marsh Harrier, 3 Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.

At least 2 European White-fronted Geese came in with Pink's late afternoon, best viewed from the United Utilities Hide. Four Barnacle Geese still present.

Waders included 63 Ruff, 54 Black-tailed Godwit, Dunlin and Curlew.

An adult winter Mediterranean Gull was with Black-headed Gulls on the Mere this morning.

Yesterday a female Blackcap was seen along the Nature Trail.
