A Short eared Owl from Ron Barker was the sighting of the day, hot on the heels of yesterdays Barn Owl. Other reports from Ron Barker today included Little ringed Plover, 3 Dunlin, 4 Ringed Plover and 38 Avocet and at least 7 chicks. The female Red crested Pochard is still showing from the Harrier Hide along with a pair of Little ringed Plover. Upto 2 Marsh Harrier are using the reserve at the moment and can be seen from any of the hides but the best one usually is the Ron Barker Hide.
