Siberian Chiffchaff still present opposite the sewage works this afternoon. At least 5 Common Chiffchaff around the reserve.

Two breeding plumage Med Gulls on the Mere this morning.

At least 8 species of wader present including some stunning breeding plumage Black-tailed Godwit and Ruff.

Sparrowhawks are active at the moment, Kestrel and at least 6 Common Buzzard today.

Around 30 Pied Wagtail and at least one Grey Wagtail by the sewage works.

Locally Red Kite and White Stork seen today.

Still no Sand Martin or Swallow seen on the reserve, maybe tomorrow!

Less pleasing, a sighting of Mink by the Gladstone Hide. If you see any Mink please report them to the wardens or at the in focus shop.
